First sale!

So I finally have a decent vac system going now:-)

Parts being routed for a shelf for the Perrysburg Tennis Center.

My first large, completed project! Custom designed and sold to PTC! The large area on the left will hold a large emergency medical cabinet. Behind the panel, and the reason for the shelf, is to cover a bunch of closed circuit television connections that are somehow a fire hazard.

Nifty tennis ball cutout.

New entertainment center, no glue/screws allowed.

This is a proof of concept model of an entertainment center i'm working on. This one is 16 inches wide by 7 inches deep and 10 inches high. The real one will be a little bit bigger. ;-) Actually, there will be three units connected to give me storage for all my components, plus dvd storage space for movies/wii games, and finally a couple book shelves. Haven't decided what to use for finishing yet.

Top view showing cord slot.

Back view showing locking joints. You can also see more cord access areas here.

Side view showing the side. This will eventually have another slot to accept the pieces that will let one unit interlock with the next.

I also intend to further develop this construction to include tables, desks, book cases, plus any other contraption i can conjure up.

(p.s. This is my design, please don't steal it as your own. Thanks.)

One of the sacrificed pieces of my router mount.

Screws used to secure the router now. I needed two, Fastenal only sold them via a box of 100. So i've got that going for me.

Fixed my K2CNC router mount finally

I finally figured out how to fix my router mount with the stuck and broken screws in it. I simply walked over to my compound miter saw and chopped the area off where the nut goes. I then drilled and tapped for some new screws, tada. Problem solved. Only took five(?) months.

Gear Rack

Just ordered 2 6 foot long pieces of 20 Degree Pressure Angle Racks from McMaster-Carr in anticipation of getting 2 rack and pinion kits from cncrouterparts.com. I'm looking to vastly speed up/improve my x axis. Should be about $300-$350 when all is said and done. The improvements in dependability will be way worth the price. Plus, I can sell the parts formerly used for the screw drive. Can't wait!
